Preparing Pupils For Success
Ag ullmhú daltaí le héirí leo
The College promotes the Catholic Ethos by living the faith in every aspect of school life.
St Brigid’s is a centre for learning at the heart of the community it serves. It is inclusive in it’s practice, caring for each and providing for all. All members of the school community are valued by word and deed. Expectations are high and pupils are encouraged to set relevant challenging targets that allow them to achieve personally, socially, academically, spiritually and aesthetically; thus helping to ensure a good quality of life, high self-esteem and an ability to contribute as informed members of society.
Aims and Values of St Brigid’s College.
At St Brigid’s College, we aim to enable our pupils to develop into good practising adult Catholics by developing the spiritual, moral, social, and emotional dimensions of their lives. It is of critical importance to us that our pupils acquire the knowledge and skills which will enable them to become responsible members of their school, family, church and community.
As a school, we strive to create a culture of tolerance, where people from diverse identities are recognised, welcomed, respected and cherished. In such a culture each individual is expected to grow and develop to maximise their potential.
